Comets and Strange Clouds

Last night I had a dream. What it meant, if anything, I don't know, but this is what I saw.

Initially, I was inside a room, at a party which many of my friends were attending. It was night, of course. Most likely in the city, as I couldn't see any stars in the sky. Then, looking through the window, I saw a light, high in the heavens, and so went outside, where I could get a better view of things.

It started as a single meteor, streaking through the sky. Before long it was joined by others. All came from different directions. They came down, and hit on the over the horizon. A flash of light, followed long after by a boom that rolled over the landscape. By this time my friends were joining me outside, and they were starting to panic, a bit. Me, I was just watching.

Clouds followed the boom. Dark, roiling monsters that blotted out the heavens.

Shortly after, what I can only describe as rainbow clouds appeared. Not your standard rainbow, arcing from one point to another. These were more like shifting bars of light, high in the air and perpendicular to the landscape, their colors moving through pure reds, blues, and greens.

That's all.

Psych,

Interesting. I wouldn't mention this but it's eerily similar to what some believe has and will happen again.
Your reference to a 'rainbow' also reenforces the ideas of a cleansing, which parallels stories of old with the great flood.
A few years ago NASA put up an article concerning a massive object that was not visible in the normal light spectrum but in infrared.
Coincidentally the US has just recently-last year I believe, made a huge infrared telescope operational at..get ready-the South Pole. One of the worse places on earth to go and get a tan.
Let's see, rumors of underground cities, massive amounts of money dissapearing in the last few years, global warming and a rise in consciensceness amoung others. Coincidence perhaps, but something that might be giving more attention to.
The astronomical idea of our sun having a sister orbiting it is not old. It seems if this could be true that sister might be a dwarf and noticalbe only on an infrared scale. It doesn't have to "HIT" earth to cause a lot of changes in the solar system-especially our sun.
Magnetic and gravatational equilibrium will be lost.

One study I researched from a very distiguished scientist posits the idea that prior to the great flood, some knew of a huge magnetic reversal coming..and made what preperations they could.
Funny how the Myans knew about sun spots thousands of years before western man had the guts to go to far out in the ocean for fear of falling off.
The correllation between the empires of Egypt and the Myans are incredible.

Peace
Kev

Psych--

Just wanted to say hello, and that I appreciated your comment on Smoking Mirrors re: the Christians as the Antichrists which they seek. In watching "Jesus Camp", I recognized that these Christians were basically engaged in hate and death magic. Kind of stupid though. I think that when Pat Robertson prayed several years ago that a hurricane hit Orlando, Fla. during "Gay Days", he dumbly didn't think there might be people working some countermagic to protect the souls at Disneyworld and its environs. The countermagic evidently worked though because a hurricane did form off the Atlantic, but it hit Robertson's homestate of Virginia instead.

("Curses!" ha ha.)

Regarding this dream, I've been having interesting resonances myself with both rainbows and white light. I've been working with the orishas of Afro-Cuban tradition. Obatala (master of all things white) and Oxumare (the rainbow-serpent) both appeared to me in a dream recently. It was rather interesting to say the least. Damballah is the Santeria version of the rainbow serpent, but it's also quetzalcoatl.

(FYI, for some reason the number 7 came up as I was reading your entry here. Mean anything to you?)

The fact that you were calm and everyone else was freaking seems to me the most significant element. Hope you're having good luck marinating in the dream's mystery. Asking it what it needs to teach you.

Peace,

Hey guys,

First, apologies for the late reply. It's a new blog, and I didn't have e-mail notification set up. Everything's a work in progress, after all....

Now, Kevin, well, I've actually been reading quite a bit on cometary cycles, comet swarms, periodic mass extinctions, and, yes, the Nemesis theory. So these are ideas I already have floating in my head, and having a dream about them, of course, can be explained away by that. But (there's always a but, isn't there?), this dream felt different. Very vivid, and almost eerie ... I don't have dream like that very often. My younger sister had a similar dream, a couple of weeks before, which I found out when I told her about this dream. She's quite a bit more 'sensitive' than I am, if you take my meaning. So.... what, then? Hell, I don't know.

Frostwolf:

The number 7 ... The night after watching this, I was at a friend's house and she was showing me electric sheep, a very cool screen-saver program, which she claimed was based on 7 dimensional math*. Being a former physics major, I was as fascinated by the math as I was captivated by the beauty of the imagery ... especially having recently read quite a bit of the Cassiopaean material, wherein the 7 densities (and their corresponding dimensions) feature quite prominently.... Well. Maybe something to do with all that? Or maybe not.

*Turns out it's nothing of the sort. The math is a fractal visualizer fed through a collaborative genetic algorithm. Still pretty gnarly, though.
